Three panel installation: mixed media drawing on plaster slabs

A year in a minute is a monument to personal histories lost in the rifts of time. Bodily representations of liminal moments have been documented with crude drawings on monolithic plaster artifacts. Where history preserved stories of perfect valiance in battle and ascension through detailed reliefs and friezes, A year in a minute's triptych holds on to a more common, less honoured human narrative - one of ambiguous intent, ambivalence of time, and uncertainty, but occurring anyways. Mixing absurd and melancholic motifs in the drawings, the slabs themselves are prototype relics of cyclical and transient events in everyday life.
